Comment, par association d’idées, ne pas se y penser… George et Alfred. Encore une histoire éblouissante et tragique.
SORROW
I’ve lost my spirit and my strength,
My friends and my vitality;
Even that pride I’ve lost nearly
Which in my genius gave me faith.
When first I came to Truth, I thought
She’d be a friend to me, but when
I understood her well, by then
I was disgusted and worn out.
Although she is immortal, yet
Those who have done without her know
Nothing about life here below.
God speaks, and one must make reply;
The sole good that is left to me
In this world is having sometimes wept.
Alfred de Musset
